Updated: 2026-11-05

Vocabulum is a free app for learning Greek in your browser or Telegram. This page lists notable updates to the app, from new sections to new topics and exercises, with the date each one arrived.

## October 2026

### Cyprus culture preparation: topics and results

October 8, 2026

Updated preparation stats show which facts are due for review, which are consolidated and how you answer in Greek without opening the translation. You can also explore results by topic and your practice exam history.

From the stats, start practice for a topic or revisit mistakes. These measures describe your study activity and help you choose what to work on next; they do not guarantee an exam pass.

### Vocabulary stats: what to review and how practice is going

October 7, 2026

Vocabulary stats now separate the current state of your words from practice results over a selected period. See which words are due for review, still being learned or consolidated. Words you marked as known appear separately.

Explore mistakes and exercise formats, then start practice for difficult words. The overview suggests reviewing first when words are due.

### Cyprus culture exam: practice test

October 5, 2026

The Cyprus section now has a practice exam: 25 questions in Greek, 45 minutes and a target of 60% correct answers. You can change your answers until you finish the attempt.

Afterward, a review shows the correct answers, explanations and your results by topic. It is a Vocabulum practice tool, not an official test.

### Grammar stats based on exercise answers

October 5, 2026

The Grammar section of learning stats shows results from your answers: how many tasks you completed, your accuracy and topics to revisit. Rule application and form practice appear separately so you can see what you have been working on.

Choose a period, explore mistakes and open the relevant practice. These measures use saved answers rather than your own assessment of how well you know a rule. They describe your practice results and help you choose a topic to work on next.

### Different word meanings with their own examples

October 4, 2026

Words with several meanings now have a Word meanings section on their detail page. Each meaning covered has its own translation, a Greek example and a translated example. This helps explain why a familiar word can mean something different in another context.

Open a detailed word card from the dictionary or search. The section appears where meanings have been prepared; other cards keep their usual example. Notes are available in English and Russian, while the main practice material stays the same.

### Share your progress

October 2, 2026

A new button next to the settings in your profile builds a card with your streak, words learned and level. Send it to a Telegram chat, post it to your story or save it as an image.

The card links to the bot, so friends can start learning Greek with you.

### Cyprus culture learning without chapters or limits

October 1, 2026

Cyprus exam prep now starts with a single “Learning” button. Each session mixes questions due for review with new facts, most important first.

There are no chapters and no daily cap: when one session ends, you can start the next right away.

### The Vocabulum website is live

October 1, 2026

The app now has a website in English and Russian. It describes every section of the app and includes sample words, the Greek alphabet with pronunciation and answers to common questions.

This page is where we will post updates.

## September 2026

### Answers count instantly

September 29, 2026

In word practice, your answer now counts right away, even when the connection is slow or drops for a moment. The app saves answers on your device and sends them in order once you are back online.

### Weekly leaderboard, results and achievements

September 24, 2026

The weekly leaderboard is now shared by all learners, and you can compare yourself with everyone or only with your friends. When the week ends, you see your position and award, and the result goes into your weekly history.

Achievements with levels arrived as well: for words, streaks, grammar, listening and Cyprus questions. After your first session of the day, the app shows your streak growing and which days of the week already count.
